Access at Castle Sidcup

We want Castle Sidcup to feel welcoming and accessible to everyone. This page gives an overview of the current facilities in the building and the support we can offer. If there’s anything we can do to make your visit easier, please get in touch. We’re always learning and improving.

You can reach us any time at hello@castlesidcup.com.

The cinema is located in the Storyteller building, which has step-free access from Sidcup High Street. There are no steps at the entrance.

The screening rooms are on the upper level and are accessible via a lift. If you would like assistance when you arrive, just email ahead of your visit and a team member will be ready to help.

Each of our three screens includes dedicated spaces for guests who require a wheelchair space, along with companion seats. To book these email hello@castlesidcup.com

There are accessible toilets available on the same level as the screens.

We accept CEA Cards. The cardholder pays for their ticket and their carer receives a free ticket.

Here’s some guidance on how to book with your CEA card on our website:
First, select the screening you would like to attend, you'll then be taken to the seat selection page. Choose the number of seats you need.

You’ll then be taken to the ticket selection page.
In the ‘Apply Promotional Code(s)’ section at the top of the page, click ‘Add'.
Enter the long number on your valid CEA card and click ‘Validate Code’.
If you have any trouble email hello@castlesidcup.com. You're also very welcome to book in person at the bar.

Parent and baby screenings are designed for parents and carers with babies under twelve months, with slightly raised lighting and a softer atmosphere.

Once these screenings begin, they will provide a welcoming space for those who want to enjoy new releases without worrying about noise or movement.

Trained assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of the cinema. If you are bringing an assistance dog, feel free to let us know in advance so we can offer the most comfortable seating arrangement.

Our bar and café counter are step-free and accessible. Staff are always happy to help by reading menus aloud, carrying items or offering support during your visit.

You can always speak to any Duty Manager or member of the team. We aim to offer support without fuss, and we will always do what we can to help you feel comfortable during your visit.

If you have access needs not covered here, we’d love to hear from you - your feedback helps us improve.

If you have questions or would like support planning your visit, email us at hello@castlesidcup.com.

We will be adding more detailed information, including maps, photos and additional guidance, as we continue to settle into the building and develop our programme.
